James M. Fazzio is a founding partner and president of Boston Research Group. Jim has extensive
experience designing research projects, constructing questionnaires, moderating
focus groups, providing data analysis and presenting research results. This experience has been gained as both
a provider and user of marketing research since 1979.
Prior to forming Boston Research Group, Jim was President and founder of TECH Marketing Research which was
reorganized to form Boston Research Group.
Jim started his research career with Burke Marketing Research, and later became Director of Marketing Research
with a division of the Barclays Group of North America (a diversified financial services company) and was also
Director of Marketing Services for Schneider Parker Advertising in Boston, MA.
Jim has a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Connecticut in Communications Sciences.
Paul W. McClanahan is a founding partner of Boston Research Group, and President of
Swift Interactive Technologies, a subsidiary of
Boston Research Group. With its wholly owned subsidiaries
BRG Research Services and Swift Interactive
Technologies, Boston Research Group provides international qualitative, quantitative, and Internet-based
marketing research services for a wide variety of clients including high technology companies, financial services
and insurance companies, health maintenance organizations, advertising agencies and publishers.
Paul has been a marketing research professional since 1981, and he has experience in all aspects of research
design and consulting. Paul's U.S. and international research experience includes study and questionnaire design,
focus group moderation, analysis, and presentations of findings.
Formerly, Paul was Vice President and co-founder of TECH Marketing Research which reorganized to form Boston Research
Group.
Prior to starting these businesses, Paul was Research Manager for Schneider Parker Advertising. In this role, Paul
was responsible for designing and analyzing research efforts for the agency's clients which included major high
technology companies, financial service and providers, and retailers.
Paul was also a consultant for the Small Business Association.
Paul has a B.A. in Journalism and M.S. in Marketing from the University of South Carolina.
Paul Flaxman is a Vice President at Boston Research Group and has extensive experience designing research
projects, constructing questionnaires, moderating focus groups, providing data analysis and presenting research

Prior to Boston Research Group, Paul was an Account Executive at TECH Marketing Research.
Paul has a B.A. in Communication Sciences and M.A. in Marketing Communications from the University of Connecticut,
where he also served as a Public Speaking Instructor.
Charles Miller is a Vice President of Boston Research Group and a career market intelligence professional
since 1982. Prior to joining Boston Research Group, Chuck was a Senior Manager in IBM’s Software Group for eight years.
In this role, he was responsible for a wide range of global market intelligence in support of product development, strategic
planning, and corporate marketing.
Before joining IBM, Chuck worked for Arnold Advertising, one of the top advertising agencies in New England, as an
Associate Director. He also worked at Abt Associates Inc., a leading market research provider, where he served as Senior
Analyst and Survey Director.
Chuck has a B.A. from the State University of New York, Plattsburgh where he graduated cum laude in Psychology/Marketing.
He also has completed Masters level Marketing and Management coursework at Harvard University.
Mary Senseney is a quantitative research professional experienced in implementing and
managing primary market research projects for a variety of clients and industries such as healthcare, high-tech, and
consumer products. Mary started her career at PERT Survey Research in 1993, and joined BRG in 1996.
Mary has a B.S. in Business from Eastern Connecticut State University.
James Watt is Professor of Communication and Chair of the Department of Language, Literature, and
Communication at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Dr. Watt is also a founder and principal in two companies:
Swift Interactive Technologies, which conducts Web surveys for a wide range of client organizations, and
Information Analysis Systems Corp., which provides marketing research services. Dr. Watt has also served as
consultant to a number of high technology and mass communication organizations for over 20 years.

Dr. Watt received the B.S.E.E. degree from Ohio University in 1966 and the Ph.D. in Mass Communication Research
from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1973.
Luis Carter is President of BRG Research
Services, Inc., Boston Research Group's data collection subsidiary. Luis was named President of
BRG Research Services in 2002 after spending many
years with the organization in various management positions.
Under Luis' management, the organization has grown substantially in both revenues and capabilities. Apart from
overall management of the organization, Luis is directly responsible for all client management activities. Luis
also participates in high-level research activities such as executive interviewing and focus group moderation.
Having been raised in Venezuela, and Trinidad and Tobago, Luis is fluent in Spanish.
Luis has a BS in Business Management from Utah State University.
